Asian PX trends up, PTA & MEG down

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices surged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1375/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices increased and were offered at US$ 1355/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1360/ton.
 
PTA price declined in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were assessed at US$ 980/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 1435/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept inert and were offered at US$ 1435/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were offered in the range of 57.50 cents/pound to 58.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international and declined in domestic markets and were offered at US$ 1320/ton and € 1045/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices declined in the Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices went down and offered at US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices kept steady in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. Some deals were quoted at US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept steady at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9550/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices kept stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1230/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1280/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9200/ton to RMB 9250/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in the Asian region.  In the F E Asian market, PSF prices kept inert at US$ 1460/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices kept steady at US$ 1360/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 10050/ton to RMB 10100/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY declined to RMB 10100/ton, RMB 11550/ton and RMB 10350/ton respectively.  In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY went down to US$ 1380/ton, US$ 1575/ton and US$ 1400/ton.
