MEG & BG PET Chips prices fell in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices decreased and were quoted in the range of US$ 1415/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices increased and were offered at US$ 1400/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton.
 
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices inched up and were quoted at US$ 980/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market dropped and were quoted in the range of US$ 970/ton to US$ 975/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of RMB 7225/ton to RMB 7275/ton.
 
Ethylene prices showed varied trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices increased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered at US$ 1465/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were quoted in the range of 65.50 cents/pound to 66.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were assessed at US$ 1330/ton and € 1030/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were quoted at US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices fell and were offered in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 980/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7350/ton to RMB 7400/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept steady in the range of US$ 1375/ton to US$ 1415/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1385/ton to US$ 1425/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept steady in the range of US$ 1395/ton to US$ 1435/ton, while talked prices were offered in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1445/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices dipped and were offered in the range of RMB 9350/ton to RMB 9400/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1225/ton to US$ 1235/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1255/ton to US$ 1285/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices decreased and were offered in the range of RMB 9100/ton to RMB 9150/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices kept stable at US$ 1435/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices remained stable at US$ 1335/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 9850/ton to RMB 9900/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and FDY remained stable at RMB 9850/ton and RMB 10150/ton, while DTY prices were down to RMB 11350/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and FDY kept unchanged at US$ 1340/ton and US$ 1375/ton, where as DTY prices decreased to US$ 1545/ton.
