Propylene trends down in Europe, up in US this week

Propylene prices in Europe were down week on week yesterday (Wednesday) and buying trends in the region were reported to be dull.
Prices were at € 1070/ton FD NWE yesterday, showing a week on week (compared to last Wednesday, 16th July 2014) drop of €10/ton. Contract prices for July were settled at € 1175/ton FD NWE, higher by € 15/ton from June.
Prices showed upward trend w-o-w in US. Prices were assessed at 58.15 cents/pound last Wednesday (16th July, 2014) which went up and were spotted at 59.00 cents/pound, yesterday.
