FG PET Chips prices inch down in Chinese market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1360/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices remained stable and were assessed at US$ 1340/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market fell and were quoted in the range of US$ 1385/ton to US$ 1390/ton.
 
PTA prices went down marginally in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices declined and were offered in the range of US$ 1020/ton to US$ 1025/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices plunged and were quoted at US$ 1000/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market remained stable and were offered in the range of US$ 1000/ton to US$ 1005/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices kept inert and were assessed in the range of RMB 7450/ton to RMB 7500/ton.
 
Ethylene prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1475/ton to US$ 1480/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept stable and were offered at US$ 1520/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices surged and were quoted in the range of 69.50 cents/pound to 70.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were offered at US$ 1325/ton and € 1025/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices maintained stable trend in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 985/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices stayed steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices kept unchanged in the range of RMB 7400/ton to RMB 7450/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept inert in the range of US$ 1360/ton to US$ 1400/ton, and some deals were quoted in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers remained stable in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton, while talked prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed unchanged and were quoted in the range of RMB 9500/ton to RMB 9550/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1210/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 9100/ton to RMB 9150/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in the Asian region.  In the F E Asian market, PSF prices kept inert at US$ 1420/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices remained steady at US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of RMB 9700/ton to RMB 9750/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY kept stable at RMB 9900/ton, RMB 11400/ton and RMB 10200/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged at US$ 1355/ton, US$ 1560/ton and US$ 1390/ton, respectively.
