Benzene prices head northwards in Asia

Despite prices falling in upstream market, benzene prices went up in Asia market on August 7.
Asian benzene prices increased on account of improved buying sentiments coupled with a rise in US benzene prices.
In Asia, benzene prices went up from USD 1285/ton to USD 1300/ton, a day-on-day gain of 1.17 percent.
Benzene prices gained 6 cents in US market and were offered in the range of 480 cents/gallon to 483 cents/gallon.
