Perry Ellis signs deal with Perfect Fit for bedding range

Perry Ellis International announced that it has entered into license agreements with Perfect Fit Industries, LLC for bedding products including mattress pads, bed toppers, electric blankets, electric mattress pads and pillows for customers in the USA and Canada under the Perry Ellis Portfolio and Laundry by Shelli Segal brands.
"We are enthusiastic about working with Perfect Fit and further strengthening our relationships with our retail partners. Our significant growth provides a successful platform and the confidence to invest in new categories for an even wider profile to meet consumer needs," said Oscar Feldenkreis, president and chief operating officer of Perry Ellis International.
Targeted retailers will include home specialty chains, as well as online retailers.
"Both the Laundry by Shelli Segal and Perry Ellis Portfolio brands add strength to our brand and product portfolio," said Carmen Waite, Perfect Fit's Senior Vice President of Marketing. "We have developed apparel inspired products that are comfortable and appeal to each customer. The Laundry brand's fashion-forward styling appeals to a broad range of women and their success in prom dresses also makes it an ideal brand for back to college, while Perry Ellis Portfolio offers the perfect balance of function and fashion."
These innovative products will be launched at New York Home Fashions Market Week in September 2014.
