Istanbul gears up to host Texworld textile fair

Istanbul, the capital of Turkey, is gearing up to host the textile fair Texworld Istanbul, set to be launched by global fair industry leader Messe Frankfurt.

The exhibition to be held from November 4-6, 2014, would serve as a meeting place for the worldwide textile and apparel companies and their consumers from Turkey and surrounding regions.

To be held twice a year, the event would provide an opportunity for fabric manufacturers to connect with the top buyers in the world, as it aims to bring together the most significant apparel textile suppliers and buyers. More than 150 exhibitors and at least 5000 professional buyers are expected to attend the exhibition.

Texworld Istanbul will be a meeting point for Asian and global business partners dealing in the range of textile products for the fashion and apparel industry from cotton and blends, denim, shirting, linen and hemp, wool and wool aspects, embroidery and lace, silk and silky aspects, prints, functional fabrics, knitted fabrics, yarns and fibers, trims and a wide range of fashion accessories, including scarves, stoles, and shawls.

The exhibition aims at satisfying the growing demand of imported fabrics from leading textile sources to Turkey, and to the surrounding regions.
