Miroglio Textile now offers accurate sample of colours

Italy-based Miroglio Textile says for the first time it is able to translate the visual impression of colours and patterns shown on a mood board into identical production colours in a reliable process.
With the help of DMIx, a new digital colour communication system, Miroglio Textile says it is now able to identify, exactly match and accurately reproduce digital samples of colours and surfaces.
DMIx has been developed and implemented from cooperation between a network of hardware and software developers like CADDON, EPSON, EFI and Color Digital and the digitised workflow is based on CADDON's multi-spectral technology.
Using this technology enables Miroglio Textile to translate the visual impression of the colours and patterns shown on a mood board into identical production colours in a reliable process, the company said in a statement.
“Multi-spectral measurement of colours, patterns and surfaces means that they can be depicted on a computer screen and will exactly match the sample”, Miroglio explains.
“With DMIx, colour measurements that are taken, can be quickly and easily applied in production, using the CADDON recording and reproduction system, EPSON printers and software from EFI and COLOR DIGITAL”, it adds.
Colours and patterns are digitally decoded and archived so that they can be exactly reproduced, which will also help Miroglio Textile to make available its latest trend colour chart digitally.
“With this new ground breaking technology programme and partnership, we are taking a giant step in our commitment to smart innovation, a journey which started with the E.Volution introduction two years ago”, Miroglio informs. (AR)
