BG PET Chips prices decline in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices decreased and were offered in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1255ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices plunged and were quoted at US$ 1230/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market kept inert and were offered in the range of US$ 1235/ton to US$ 1240/ton.
 
PTA prices kept inert in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 945/ton to US$ 950/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were offered at US$ 925/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market kept stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 925/ton to US$ 930/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 6695/ton to RMB 6745/ton.
 
Ethylene prices stayed steady in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices kept unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1495/ton to US$ 1500/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept steady and were quoted at US$ 1500/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of 71.00 cents/pound to 71.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices kept stable in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were quoted at US$ 1150/ton and € 910/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices went up in the Asian region. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices increased and were quoted at US$ 950/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices inched up and were offered in the range of US$ 940/ton to US$ 945/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased and were assessed in the range of RMB 6870/ton to RMB 6920/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept inert in the range of US$ 1320/ton to US$ 1360/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept stable in the range of US$ 1330/ton to US$ 1370/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1340/ton to US$ 1380/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 8825/ton to RMB 8875/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1160/ton to US$ 1170/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1190/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices stayed unchanged in the range of RMB 8600/ton to RMB 8650/ton.
 
PSF prices decreased in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices decreased to US$ 1355/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices dropped to US$ 1255/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices plunged and were quoted in the range of RMB 9250/ton to RMB 9275/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and FDY plunged to RMB 9550/ton and RMB 10050/ton, respectively, while DTY prices kept steady at RMB 11400/ton. In the export market, offers for POY and FDY declined to US$ 1315/ton and US$ 1375/ton, respectively, whereas DTY prices remained stable at US$ 1570/ton.
