ACN prices drop in all global markets this week

Acrylonitrile (ACN) prices in Europe went down this week, due to sluggish buying sentiments in the region coupled with ample product availability and lower upstream energy prices.
While in the US, ACN trends declined due to sluggish downstream demand.
ACN European prices were assessed this week at US$ 1940/ton, lower by US$ 10/ton as compared to the last week.
In the US, ACN was offered at US$ 1860/ton this week, lower by US$ 75/ton against last week.
Prices in Asia declined by US$ 25/ton versus the previous week and in S E Asia and F E Asia were quoted at US$ 1980/ton and US$ 1985/ton, respectively.
