Jiangsu Sanfangxiang starts PTA production at new plant

Jiangsu Sanfangxiang Group Co., Ltd., located at Zhouzhuang Town, Jiangyin City in Jiangsu Province of the Yangtze Delta, has started commercial production at a new purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant.
“Operations at the new PTA plant began at the end of September 2014, and commercial production of PTA started last week,” a company official told fibre2fashion.
The new PTA plant has production capacity of 2.7 million tons/yr.
