PTA, MEG & PSF prices decline in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices inched down and were offered in the range of US$ 1150/ton to US$ 1155/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices decreased and were quoted at US$ 1135/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market plunged and were offered in the range of US$ 1165/ton to US$ 1170/ton.
 
PTA prices decreased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices dropped and were quoted in the range of US$ 865/ton to US$ 870/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices fell and were offered at US$ 845/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 885/ton to US$ 890/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 6070/ton to RMB 6120/ton.
 
Ethylene prices kept unchanged in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1500ton to US$ 1505/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices stayed steady and were quoted at US$ 1490/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were quoted in the range of 69.50 cents/pound to 70.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices stayed inert in the European international market at US$ 1175/ton, while they increased in the domestic market to € 985/ton.
 
MEG prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were unchanged and were quoted at US$ 855/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices kept unaltered and were assessed in the range of US$ 845/ton to US$ 850/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices fell down in the range of RMB 5985/ton to RMB 6035/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips kept inert in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1260/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers kept unchanged in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1280/ton, while talked prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1250/ton to US$ 1290/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips’ prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 8350/ton to RMB 8400/ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1080/ton to US$ 1100/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1090/ton to US$ 1130/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips’ prices decreased and were offered in the range of RMB 7925/ton to RMB 7975/ton.
 
PSF prices inched down in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices declined to US$ 1265/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices plunged to US$ 1165/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices decreased and were quoted in the range of RMB 8650/ton to RMB 8675/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY plunged to RMB 8900/ton, RMB 11000/ton and RMB 9150/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY plunged to US$ 1215/ton, US$ 1510/ton and US$ 1240/ton, respectively.
