Steep fall in Asian PTA prices yesterday from low demand

PTA prices fell steeply in Asia on Monday (13th Oct), due to sluggish demand of the product in the region.
In F E Asia, prices went down by US$ 45/ton and were quoted at US$ 775/ton on Monday, as compared to last Friday (10th Oct), a decrease of 5.49 percent.
In S E Asia too, prices declined by US$ 45/ton or down 5.33 percent from 10th Oct and were offered at US$ 800/ton on 13th Oct.
In India, PTA prices also fell by US$ 45/ton and were assessed at US$ 810/ton on Monday, as compared to last Friday, or down 5.26 percent.
