Europe & US benzene prices up last week from tight supply

European benzene prices showed upward trend in the last week ending 25th Oct, when compared with its previous week ending 18th Oct, due to tight product availability in the region.
Benzene prices were spotted in the range of US$ 1240-1270/ton FOB Rotterdam against US$ 1175-1240/ton in its previous week.
Contract prices for the month of October were settled at € 1045/ton CIF ARA, higher by € 6/ton as compared to the contract prices of September.
In US, benzene prices showed similar trend as in Asia and Europe last week and were assessed in the range of 385-395 (cents/gallon) FOB US vis-à-vis 375-395 (cents/gallon) in its previous week.
