European PX prices down from poor demand on Nov 4

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Europe on Tuesday (Nov 4) from fall in upstream energy prices coupled with poor downstream demand in the region.
Prices were assessed at US$ 970/ton on Tuesday, lower by US$ 25/ton as compared to that on Monday (Nov 3).
PX prices showed similar trend in US and were offered at US$ 975-980/ton on Monday, lower by US$ 10/ton as compared to the closing prices of the last week.
