PTA, MEG & PSF prices climb up in Asia

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained unaffected in Asian markets. PX prices were stable in SE Asia, ranging between US$ 1015 per ton to $1020 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PX prices were steady at US$ 1000 per ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market declined to a range of US$ 1015 to 1020 per ton.
 
PTA prices increased in Asia. SE Asian market witnessed an increase in PTA prices and they ranged between US$ 795 to 800 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PTA prices increased to US$ 775 per ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market were stable in a range of US$ 760 to 765 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased to a range of RMB 5595 to 5645 per ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unaffected in Asian markets. In the SE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable ranging between US$ 1255 and 1260 per ton. In the FE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable at US$ 1220 per ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained unaffected ranging between 51.50 to 52.00 cents per pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international market at US$ 1190 per ton, while they increased in the domestic market to € 975 per ton.
 
MEG prices climbed up in Asia. In SE Asia, MEG prices increased to US$ 870 per ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased and they ranged between US$ 850 and 855 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased to a range of RMB 6420 to 6470 per ton.
 
In SE Asia, prices of BG PET Chips remained unaffected ranging between US$ 1125 and 1165 per ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1135 to 1175 per ton. In the FE Asian market, selling offers were steady in a range of US$ 1145 to 1185 per ton, while talked prices hovered in the range of US$ 1155 to 1195 per ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips’ prices increased and they ranged between RMB 7975 to 8025 per ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips remained unaffected ranging between US$ 1000 and 1040 per ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1010 to 1050 per ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips’ prices increased and they ranged between RMB 7400 and 7450 per ton.
 
PSF prices climbed up in Asia. In the FE Asian market, PSF prices increased to US$ 1185 per ton. In the SE Asian market, PSF selling prices increased to US$ 1085 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased and they ranged between RMB 8125 and 8150 per ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and FDY increased to RMB 8750 per ton and RMB 8650 per ton, respectively, while DTY prices were stable at RMB 10550 per ton. In the export market, offers for POY and FDY increased to US$ 1195 per ton and US$ 1165 per ton, respectively, while DTY prices were stable at US$ 1445 per ton.
