PTA prices increased in Asia. The SE Asian market witnessed increase in PTA prices ranging between US$ 800 to 805 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PTA prices climbed up to US$ 780 per ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market steady to a range of US$ 765 to 770 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased to a range of RMB 5685 to 5735 per ton.
Ethylene prices remained unaffected in Asian markets. In the SE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable ranging between US$ 1235 to 1240 per ton. In the FE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable to US$ 1180 per ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined ranging between 55.50 to 56.00 cents per pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international market as well as in the domestic market to US$ 1180 per ton and € 945 per ton, respectively.
MEG prices went up in Asia. In the SE Asia, MEG prices increased to US$ 880 per ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices were stable ranging between US$ 855 to 860 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased to a range of RMB 6540 to 6590 per ton.
In the SE Asia, prices of BG PET Chips climbed up ranging between US$ 1160 to 1200 per ton. Some deals increased to a range of US$ 1170 to 1210 per ton. In the FE Asian market, selling offers went up to a range of US$ 1180 to 1220 per ton, while talked prices were in the range of US$ 1190 to 1230 per ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices surged ranging between RMB 7975 to 8025 per ton.
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips increased ranging between US$ 1030 to 1070 per ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were in the range of US$ 1040 to 1080 per ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices surged ranging between RMB 7450 to 7500 per ton.
PSF prices remained unaffected in Asia. In the FE Asian market, PSF prices were stable to US$ 1185 per ton. In the SE Asian market, PSF selling prices were steady to US$ 1085 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices were stable ranging between RMB 8125 to 8150 per ton.
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY went up to RMB 8900 per ton, RMB 10600 per ton and RMB 8800 per ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY and FDY went up to US$ 1215 per ton, US$ 1450 per ton and US$ 1185 per ton, respectively.
