PTA, MEG & PSF prices climb up in Chinese domestic market

Paraxylene (PX) prices climbed up in Asian markets. PX prices went up in SE Asia, where they ranged between US$ 1035 and 1040 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PX prices surged to US$ 1015 per ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market increased to a range of US$ 1020 to 1025 per ton.
 
PTA prices increased in Asia. SE Asian market witnessed increase in PTA prices which ranged between US$ 805 and 810 per ton. In the FE Asian market, PTA prices climbed up to US$ 785 per ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market increased to a range of US$ 775 to 780 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices increased to a range of RMB 5705 to 5755 per ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unaffected in Asian markets. In the SE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable ranging between US$ 1235 and 1240 per ton. In the FE Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable at US$ 1180 per ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined ranging between 53.00 to 53.50 cents per pound. Ethylene prices were stable in the European international as well as in domestic markets at US$ 1180 per ton and € 945 per ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices went up in Asia. In SE Asia, MEG prices increased to US$ 905 per ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices went up ranging between US$ 870 to 875 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices increased to a range of RMB 6710 to 6760 per ton.
 
In SE Asia, prices of BG PET Chips remained unaffected ranging between US$ 1160 and 1200 per ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1170 to 1210 per ton. In the FE Asian market, selling offers were stable in the range of US$ 1180 to 1220 per ton, while talked prices were in the range of US$ 1190 to 1230 per ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips’ prices were stable ranging between RMB 7975 and 8025 per ton.
 
In the Korean market, prices of FG PET Chips remained unaffected between US$ 1030 and 1070 per ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices hovered in the range of US$ 1040 to 1080 per ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips’ prices surged and they ranged between RMB 7550 and 7600 per ton.
 
PSF prices climbed up in Asia. In the FE Asian market, PSF prices increased to US$ 1200 per ton. In the SE Asian market, PSF selling prices surged to US$ 1100 per ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices increased ranging and were quoted between RMB 8200 and 8225 per ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY and FDY were stable at RMB 8900 per ton and RMB 8800 per ton, respectively, while DTY prices went up to RMB 10650 per ton. In the export market, offers for POY and FDY were stable at US$ 1215 per ton and US$ 1185 per ton, respectively, while DTY prices went up to US$ 1460 per ton.
