Strong demand on Dec 3 drives Asian MEG prices

Driven by strong downstream demand in the region, Asian MEG prices surged on Wednesday (Dec 3).
In India, MEG prices were assessed at US$ 860/ton on Wednesday, higher by US$ 30/ton or 3.61 per cent as compared to the prices on Tuesday (Dec 2).
In China, prices were spotted at US$ 855/ton on Dec 3, also up by US$ 30/ton as against those on Dec 2.
