Asian benzene drops on Monday from sluggish demand

Asian benzene prices dropped in Asia on Monday (Dec 15) from fall in upstream energy prices along with sluggish downstream demand in the region.
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 670/ton on Monday, lower by US$ 15/ton as compared to the prices at end of last week.
In Japan, prices were quoted at US$ 675/ton on Dec 15, down US$ 15/ton vis-à-vis prices at end of previous week.
