Shima Seiki to exhibit at Première Vision show next month

Japan-based Shima Seiki Manufacturing Limited will exhibit its latest products at the Première Vision show in New York in January 2015.

Among other products, the company will display an updated version of its ‘SDS-ONE APEX3’ 3D design system.

APEX3, which is at the core of Shima Seiki’s ‘Total Fashion System’ concept, offers comprehensive support to the entire process of knitwear production from planning and design to production and sales promotion. In addition, it also has capability for Virtual Sampling.

Ultra-realistic simulation capability allows Virtual Sampling to minimize the costly time- and resource-consuming sample-making process, while enhancing presentation quality.

3D simulation allows evaluation of knitwear from all angles. 3D modeling, 3D mapping and 3D fitting simulation of multiple coordinate items are possible as well.

APEX3 also supports design and simulation in a variety of other industries such as circular knitting, pile knitting, weaving and printing.

Besides the updated version of SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system, Shima Seiki will also showcase knitwear produced on its latest line of computerised knitting machines, including revolutionary WHOLEGARMENT knitwear that features superior fit, comfort and draping characteristics.

Shima Seiki will exhibit both its 3D design system and knitwear samples at booth B48 at the Première Vision show in New York on January 13-14, 2015.
