US & Europe propylene prices slip last week

Propylene prices slipped in Europe, while it plunged in the US in the last week ending Dec 19, due to sluggish buying trends in the region.
In Europe, average prices went down by € 35/ton or 3.87 per cent and were assessed at € 870/ton last week, as compared to its previous week ending Dec 12.
In US, average propylene prices plunged by a massive 5 cents/pound and were quoted at 35 cents/pound last week, down 12.50 per cent as against its previous week.
