Asian propylene prices surge on Monday from hectic buying

Propylene prices surged in Asia on Monday, 29th Dec due to hectic buying interest coupled with gain in downstream product prices in the region.
In Korea, prices lifted by a massive US$ 75/ton or 13.27 per cent and were quoted at US$ 640/ton on Monday as compared to last Saturday (27th Dec).
In China also, propylene prices propelled by US$ 75/ton and were assessed at US$ 700/ton on 29th Dec, also up by 12.00 per cent from 27th Dec.
