PX prices keep steady in Asia on Thursday

Asian PX prices remained steady in Asia on Thursday (Jan 1).
In Korea, PX prices were quoted at US$ 825/ton on Jan 1, stable as compared to the prices on Dec 31.
However prices were lower by US$ 10/ton as compared to the prices on Monday (Dec 29).
In S E Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 850/ton on Thursday; again steady as against those on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, several PX producers have nominated their Asian Contract Prices (ACP) for the month of January 2015.
JX Nippon Oil & Energy has nominated its ACP at US$ 880/ton CFR Asia, Idemitsu Kosan at US$ 840/ton CFR Asia and SK Global Chemical at US$ 890/ton CFR Asia level.
