US propylene prices steady last week but slip in Europe

European propylene prices slipped in the last week ending Jan 2 from ample of product availability in the region, but stayed flat in the US from a firm energy market.
In Europe, average prices declined by US$ 25/ton or 2.99 per cent and were quoted at US$ 810/ton last week, as compared to its previous week ending Dec 26.
In the US, average propylene prices were stable at 35 cents/pound last week as against its previous week.
