Asian benzene up on Jan 8 from higher upstream prices

Benzene prices rose in Asia on Thursday (Jan 8) mainly from higher upstream energy prices and also upstream product prices in the region.
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 590/ton on Thursday, higher by US$ 15/ton as compared to the prices on Wednesday (Jan 7).
In Japan, prices were quoted at US$ 595/ton on Jan 8, also up by US$ 15/ton vis-à-vis prices on Jan 7.
In India, prices showed similar upward trend and were offered at US$ 600/ton on Jan 8.
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 590/ton on Thursday, higher by US$ 15/ton as compared to the prices on Wednesday (Jan 7).
In Japan, prices were quoted at US$ 595/ton on Jan 8, also up by US$ 15/ton vis-à-vis prices on Jan 7.
In India, prices showed similar upward trend and were offered at US$ 600/ton on Jan 8.
