Asian benzene dives down last week from low upstream trend

Asian benzene dived down in the last week ending Jan 9 from fall in upstream product prices and lower upstream energy prices in the region.
In Korea, average prices dropped down by US$ 70/ton or 10.37 per cent and were quoted at US$ 605/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
In Japan too, average prices declined steeply by US$ 70/ton and were assessed at US$ 610/ton last week, down 10.29 per cent from its previous week.
In India also, average prices dipped by US$ 70/ton and were spotted at US$ 615/ton last week as against its previous week, a decrease of 10.22 per cent.
