European & US ethylene prices plunge steeply last week

Ethylene prices plunged in double digits percentage wise in Europe & US in the last week ending Jan 16 from ample of product availability in the region.
In Europe, average prices caved in by a steep US$ 95/ton or 10.67 per cent and were quoted at US$ 795/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US too, average prices were knocked down by 5 cents/pound and were assessed at 35 cents/pound last week, down also by a massive 12.50 per cent from its previous week.
