European ethylene expands, keeps stable in US last week

Tight product availability in the region led to European ethylene prices expanding, however, they stayed stable in the US in the last week ending Feb 5.
In Europe, average prices mounted by US$ 20/ton or 2.63 per cent and were quoted at US$ 780/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
In the US, due to dull buying sentiments, average prices kept stable at 35 cents/pound last week, as against its previous week.
