Birla Cellulose, the cellulosic fibre producing division of Indian multinational conglomerate Aditya Birla Group, will exhibit its latest nature-themed Spring/Summer 2016 collection at the upcoming trade event Première Vision Yarns, Paris.

Made using the label’s sustainable modal blends and spunshade threads, the range, featuring cupromonium, viscose filament yarn and a wide array of structures in dobby, weaves, jacquard in fine and medium counts, has been divided into two parts ‘Forager’ and ‘Discipline’.

Focused around the concept of ‘less is more’, the Forager aims to meet the growing demand for sustainable living that values nature and is keen to nourish rather than harm it. The line’s modal blend entry includes the lightweight amicor acrylic made easy-to-care amicor blended knits which feature antibacterial properties that combine fluidity with functionality.

Replete with wood pulp modal, the coolmax blended activewear assortment offers moisture management with comfort ideal for both womenswear and menswear applications. Used in knitted tops and leggings, the spunshades are available in a manifold range of seasonal colours coupled with a sustainability pitch by saving water, chemicals, auxiliaries and energy.

Inspired by the concept of ‘the critical balance’ which focuses on the right kind of luxury that is enjoyed responsibly and taken seriously, the Discipline collection includes naturally produced modal fibres combined with natural dyes and hand block printing techniques that uses minimal technology interface.

Birla Cellulose will exhibit the line at Hall 5, Stall No 5L84 in the trade event.

Due to take place from February 10 to 12, 2015, Première Vision Yarns will be held as part of bi-annual trade fair Première Vision Paris which will see about 63,000 industry professionals from over 120 countries representing the yarns, fabrics, leather, design, accessories and manufacturing sectors.
