Asian benzene expands on Feb 9 from upstream price hike

Benzene prices expanded in Asia on Monday (Feb 9) due to increase in upstream energy prices and feedstock prices in the region.
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 665/ton on Monday, higher by US$ 5/ton as compared to prices at end of last week.
In Japan, prices were quoted at US$ 670/ton on Feb 9, also up by US$ 5/ton as against prices towards end of previous week.
In India, prices showed similar trend and were witnessed at US$ 675/ton on Monday.
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 665/ton on Monday, higher by US$ 5/ton as compared to prices at end of last week.
In Japan, prices were quoted at US$ 670/ton on Feb 9, also up by US$ 5/ton as against prices towards end of previous week.
In India, prices showed similar trend and were witnessed at US$ 675/ton on Monday.
