Asian propylene expands from strong demand last week

Asian propylene prices expanded in the last week ending Feb 14 from higher energy prices and strong downstream demand in the key markets of the region.
Average prices in Korea were assessed at US$ 830/ton last week, higher by 5.30 per cent as compared to US$ 785/ton in its previous week ending Feb 7.
Japanese average prices were offered at US$ 810/ton last week, up by 2.75 per cent as against US$ 785/ton in its previous week.
Average prices in SE Asia were spotted at US$ 815/ton last week, also higher by 3.16 per cent from US$ 790/ton in its previous week.
Chinese prices in China were quoted at US$ 875/ton last week, up too by 4.57 per cent as compared to US$ 840/ton in its previous week.
