Origin Africa 2015 to see around 200 exhibitors

More than 200 apparel and textile exhibitors will partake in the upcoming edition of Origin Africa 2015, an ongoing initiative dedicated to encourage African cotton, textile and apparel trades.
Due to take place from October 21st to 23rd, 2015 at the Millennium Hall, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the event aims to promote the African continent as an upcoming sourcing destination and an ideal place to do business for domestic, regional and international buyers.
The fair will see some 1500 participants representing cotton fibers, yarns and textiles, readymade garments and fashion, home textiles and décor, textile machinery or technology, and leather and leather goods sectors.
In addition to showcasing the exhibits, business meetings and seminars on issues related to ‘challenges faced by manufacturers,’ ‘role of government and associations,’ and ‘financial investment development’ will be held on the sidelines of the expo.
The event will be organised by African Cotton and Textile Industries Federation (ACTIF), International event organisers Trade and Fairs East Africa (TFEA) and East Africa Trade and Investment Hub (EATIH). (PB)
