Zund digital cutting solution attracts visitors at JEC

Swiss manufacturer Zünd presented innovative solutions for the composites industry at JEC Europe in Paris by showcasing the G3 M-1600.

In a press release, Zund said it has introduced a digital cutting solution geared specifically towards maximum productivity and versatility.

According to Zund, a significant number of purchasing decisions were made right at the show and as for visitors; the deciding factors were the tremendous productivity, flexibility and modularity of its digital cutting systems.

The ability to precisely cut a wide range of materials, including carbon and glass fibre, Aramid, rock wool, basalt fibre, rigid foam and honeycomb makes Zünd an exceedingly attractive choice,” it added.

“The volume of orders Zünd took at this show is indicative of the widespread need for European composites processors to achieve greater process integration and increases in overall productivity,” it noted.

Zünd informed that its product exhibits high productivity in mass production, great flexibility in cutting and routing shorter-run/variable production and greater efficiency through process integration.

“This tradeshow far exceeded our expectations and indication was this year's number of visitors to the Zünd booth, which increased considerably over last year," Peter Hohl, product manager, Composites, said.

“Generally speaking, we felt a great deal of willingness to invest from the European and Asian markets,” he too added. (AR)
