The Indian subsidiary of Clariant, a producer of specialty chemicals has acquired the black pigment preparations business of Lanxess, located at Nagda in Madhya Pradesh.

Deepak Parikh, MD at Clariant Chemicals (India) said, “Over the last couple of years we have made significant strides in building a value proposition for our stakeholders”

“This has been done by sharpening our business focus and increasing our footprint in India and was achieved through organic resource optimisation and capitalising on inorganic value opportunities,” he added.
