Asian MEG prices up on May 4 from strong demand

MEG prices went up in Asia on Monday (May 4) from higher prices of other polyester feedstock, tight product availability and strong downstream demand.
In India, prices were witnessed at US$ 1030/ton, higher by US$ 45/ton as compared to prices at end of last week.
In China, prices were assessed at US$ 1025/ton, also higher by US$ 45/ton as against prices seen towards end of the previous week.
