Benzene prices plunge in Europe & US last week

Benzene prices plunged in Europe & US in the last week ended May 22 due to weak upstream energy prices in the region.
In Europe, average prices were knocked down by US$ 60/ton or 7.06 per cent and were quoted at US$ 790/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices drove down by 25 cents/gallon and were assessed at 240 cents/gallon in the last week, down 9.43 per cent as against its previous week.
