PrimaLoft, Inc., a producer of high-performance insulations and fabrics said its latest innovation PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active is now Bluesign and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 approved.

In a press release, it also added that new styles from brand partners utilising PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active for Spring ’16 will be on display at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market at PrimaLoft booth no. 40043.

“PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active is the only insulation solution offering both high breathability and unmatched thermal properties, designed specifically for high-output adventures,” it informed.

“This soft, packable and water-resistant insulation regulates wearers’ comfort levels during intense activity,” Primaloft observed.

With an industry-leading warmth-to-weight ratio, the construction of PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active enables excess heat and moisture to escape, keeping the user comfortable, warm and dry.

PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active allows product designers to utilise a much wider variety of breathable shell and liner fabrics, resulting in more year-round choices for manufacturers and consumers.

“Following the successful launch of PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active for Fall/Winter 15, we now have these important accreditations for our unique innovation.” said Mike Joyce, CEO of PrimaLoft.

“As a responsible supplier to the outdoor industry, we are devoted to meeting the highest standards of worker safety, human rights, and ethical environmental and supply chain practices,” he too added.

“Achieving these important standards assures consumers, brand owners and retailers that PrimaLoft is a trusted partner with products that adhere to strict ethical guidelines,” he observed.

Montane is using PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active in its new Fireball Verso Pull-On for FW 2015 and SS 2016.

Terry Stephenson, international marketing manager at Montane said, “PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active allows us much more freedom to use high CFM, breathable fabrics within our insulation range.”

“Using this unique insulation allows the wearer maximum versatility, meaning they can enjoy the highest breathability and gain unmatched thermal benefits,” he also noted.

Brand partners using PrimaLoft Silver Insulation Active include, 4F, Bogner,Cross, Cabelas, CMP/Campagnolo, Carpus, Castelli, Direct Alpine, Dunderdon, Eddie Bauer, Eider, Helly Hansen, etc.

The PrimaLoft brand, a registered trademark of PrimaLoft delivers feel-good products that are used in top global outdoor and fashion brands, home furnishings, work wear, hunting and military applications.
