M&J Group is showcasing a new dyeing technique, Zenzero Polar which allows garment producers and laundries to use less than one litre of water per garment at the next Munich Fabric Start in September.

“It is great result obtained after months of research by our R&D department and it is even greater if you think it can be applied to denim dyeing, which is one of the most water-using processes,” an M&J press release said.

“Moreover, the new technology gives both monochromatic dyeing and vintage look effects and, finally, when combined with laser finishing, the output is simply stunning,” it added.

M&J is the first company that introduced the ‘Colored Laser’ in Asia and has recently adopted an ozone-based technology, the BIO3 that reduces consumption of chemical and water in the bleaching of denim.

M&J had earlier bagged the ‘Start to Measure’; a procedure which traces consumption of resources and has also received the Platinum LEED and GOTS certification.

It now considers the Zenzero Polar technology to be a further step on the highway of innovation.

“We never forget our role in society and nature and we always keep our eyes on the results and only if those results are positive for the people and the environment, are we satisfied,” R&D head Fabio Adami Dalla Val said. (AR)
