Lasx names Latin American agent for denim abrasion system

Lasx Industries has named Hector Ballon, owner of Intermart LLC, as their regional representative for their next generation 2500-watt denim abrasion system through Latin America.
Specialising in the sales and distribution of eco-friendly garment finishing equipment and supplies, Intermart will market and sell Lasx's industrial laser equipment throughout Latin America.
“It will do by focusing on the denim industry in Mexico, Central America and South America, as well as the US,” Lasx said in a press release.
"Hector is an extremely capable manufacturers' representative with more than 20 years of experience selling garment finishing equipment," says William Dinauer, president of LasX Industries.
"He understands the denim manufacturing market and the needs of garment manufacturers, so we anticipate our partnership with Intermart will quickly grow LasX's presence in Latin America,” he added.
“We are excited to bring laser solutions to the denim industry, delivering increased productivity and better product quality made possible by our unique laser technology," Dinauer noted.
LasX, together with RevoLaze recently announced the launch of their new high-power garment abrasion system featuring high-definition technology.
The 2500W denim abrasion system is designed to create natural fade patterns and distressed effects on denim jeans as well as intricate slub effects and textured looks with minimal difference in cycle time.
“With processing speeds up to 2 to 4 times faster than that of existing garment abrasion technologies, the LaserSharp DenimHD system is the most productive system on the market,” Lasx informed.
Lasx Industries was founded in 1998 with a mission to deliver high-performance industrial laser equipment and on-demand contract services to the flexible packaging, commercial print, medical and textile sectors.
