European & US benzene surges from buying lift last week

Benzene prices surged in Europe & US in the last week ended July 24 from lift in buying interest in the region.
In Europe, average prices soared by US$ 55/ton or 6.55 per cent and were quoted at US$ 895/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices climbed by 20 cents/gallon and were assessed at 295 cents/gallon in the last week, up a steep 7.27 per cent from its previous week.
