Asian MEG drops on July 27 due to high selling activity

MEG prices dropped in Asia on Monday (July 27) due to high selling activity and lower upstream product prices coupled with drop in other polyester feedstock prices in the region.
In India, prices were quoted at US$ 815/ton, lower by US$ 15/ton or 1.81 per cent as compared to prices at end of the last week.
In China, prices were assessed at US$ 810/ton, down by US$ 15/ton as against prices by end of the previous week.
