European & US benzene prices plunge last week

Benzene prices plunged in Europe and US in the last week ended July 31 from ample of product availability in the region.
In Europe, average prices dipped by US$ 35/ton or 3.91 per cent and were quoted at US$ 860/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices dropped by 15 cents/gallon and were assessed at 280 cents/gallon in the last week, down 5.08 per cent from its previous week.
