Asian benzene up on Aug 5 from improved demand

Benzene prices went up in Asia on Wednesday (Aug 5) from higher upstream energy prices and feedstock prices along with improved downstream demand.
In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 730/ton, higher by US$ 15/ton or 2.1 per cent as compared to prices on Tuesday (Aug 4).
In Japan, prices were quoted at US$ 725/ton, up by US$ 15/ton or 2.11 per cent as against prices on Aug 4.
In India, prices were spotted at US$ 735/ton, also higher by US$ 15/ton or 2.08 per cent from prices on Tuesday.
