Lacom debuts latest laminating & coating machines at ITMA

Laminating and coating machines producer Lacom will introduce at ITMA 2015, a new generation machines for the treatment of flexible substrates.

According to a Lacom press release, the key feature of the system is that hotmelt's are not only used as adhesion promoter between two and more layers, but also as functional layer on the surface of the substrate.

“A modified application head and the integration of impact zones allow the application of “real coatings,” the German company added.

“The new developed machine concept 'Evolution' should replace solvent based and drying intensive coating system with the environmental friendly hotmelt technology,” Lacom informed.

“The modular designed system provides to the user a very high flexibility in the configuration of the driving and feeding system of the line,: it observed.

The focus of Lacom is the development, manufacturing and the global sales of laminating and coating solutions as well as automation and robotics technology.

One of its major targets is to provide its clients the best technical and economic conditions, for the manufacturing of their products.

Sustainability and the profitability of the process and a responsible care, with natural and human resources are the starting point of its procedure.

Skilled and motivated experts and best materials combined with modern manufacturing technologies allow it to set new possibilities, trends and standards in the laminating and coating technology. (AR)
