With adequate resources such as wool, silk and leather, there are huge opportunities to grow in fashion sector, Prime Minister Nahas Angula stated.
Though Namibians are proud of their cultural status, traditional fashion is evaporating because of lack of interest.
He also stated that fashion sector has the potential to generate money as well as jobs which would help in improving socio-economic status.
This sector offers optimum opportunities for the women in rural areas.
PM also urges that proper training and seminar would help to promote this sector.
