Fashion writer Suzy Menkes presented French Legion of Honor

Famed fashion writer Suzy Mekes of International Tribune based in Paris was awarded the French Legion of Honor with the rank of Chevalier on Thursday, last.
At the glittering presentation ceremony, the French Minister for Culture and Communication Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres said, "You are terribly feared but totally respected."
Some of the fashion industry bigwigs present at the ceremony were: Christian Lacroix, Paul Smith, Miyake Issey, Stefano Pilati, Sonia et Nathalie Rykiel and Jean-Louis Scherrer
Menkes writings almost chronicling long years in the fashion trade have been marked with several highs, and the last one was an icing on the cake.
A grad from Cambridge, Menkes went on to record the happening and report the fashion industry in Paris since 1960's, in turn earning respect and accolades for her work in the field.
Menkes has authored several books about the British royal family.
