Fuwari embroidery hits Houston

The Fuwari embroidery technique is the first major change in the industry in thirty years. Fuwari is a Japanese word for "soft and furry"; no pictures can do justice to how it looks and feels in person. There is no backing required and can even stitch out on lace.

The raised (up to 5mm) stitching is very smooth and can be manipulated for an "upright" or "raised and velvety" appearance.

This process is not for every design but applications for children's clothing, jackets, shirts, 3D logos, 'hair' effects, flowers, an alternative for chenille, school lettering and fuzzy or furry things - whatever you can imagine.

Mixed media using standard embroidery and Fuwari has a unigue effect. It has been stitched onto applique and applied to a shirt with DTG printing that has our customers jumping!

There are only about 3 other countries that are utilizing it; we are the second in the USA. Samples are being created at this time to be sent to interested parties. Other samples can be seen on our website.
