Prime Minister appraises EQUATE Petrochemical

Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Nasser Al-Sabah, The Prime Minister of the state of Kuwait, a Career Opportunity Exhibition was organized by The Manpower and Government Restructuring Program (MGRP). This was held in Al-Raya Hall on Dec 24 07 at which EQUATE has participated.

Accompanied by MP Dr. Nasser Al-Sane`a and Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Zabin, Head of the Civil Service Commission Kuwait, the Minister of Finance His Excellency Mustafa Al-Shamali has honorably visited EQUATE's booth at the mentioned exhibition and appraised EQUATE's achievements towards supporting the Kuwaiti national manpower throughout the last 10 years of its age.

His Excellency was impressed of EQUATE's future vision that included the provision of career opportunities for the young enthusiastic Kuwaitis that are capable and ambitious to run such a high tech petrochemical plant.

This in tern supports the continuous success and remarkable achievements that EQUATE had accomplished among international petrochemical companies.

In addition, it is worth mentioning that EQUATE has recently received The Best Private Company Award for its highest employment of local workforce which reached 62%.

Furthermore, EQUATE has been awarded with worthiness the prize of His Highness, the Amir of Kuwait as the best distinguished plant in the State for the year 2007 which demonstrate the competencies and capabilities of the Kuwaiti workforce in managing and running its plant in the private sector.
