Knit Tex 2008 - The Complete Trade Show for the Knitting Industry will take place at Velan Hotel Fairground from February 22-25, 2008.

Knit Tex hopes through interaction of the industry to facilitate Technological upgradation, Enhancement of Productivity, Quality Consciousness , Strengthening of the raw material base , Product Diversification, Increase in exports and innovative marketing strategies, Financing arrangements, Maximizing employment opportunities.

The India Knit Fair for Autumn / Winter, Mid-Summer Collection- 2008 is brought to you by the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) – (Sponsored by Govt. of India, Ministry of Textiles) in association with Tirupur Exporters' Association (TEA).

Keeping in mind the importance of the fair a society called INDIA KNIT FAIR ASSOCIATION (IKFA) has been formed with its headquarters at TIRUPUR exclusively to organize and co-ordinate the promotion of knitwear exports.

The India Knit Fair has emerged as one among the most reputed knitwear trade fairs in the world. The best of the brand leaders / stores / wholesalers, Importers have already identified Tirupur as one of the major sources for the consumers' requirements.
